  • The tide decides

    The tide rises and falls twice a day and changes how the waves break. If you go on your own, check the tide chart first.

  • Waves by season

    From April to October the south swell comes in bigger; the rest of the year the sea tends to be calmer.

  • Out before dark

    The sun sets between 5:15 PM and 6:10 PM, depending on the month. Plan to be out of the water before dark.
