Ostional and wildlife
When thousands of turtles arrive at once
North of Nosara lies Ostional, one of the places where the arribada happens: a few days each month, thousands of olive ridley turtles come out of the sea to nest at the same time. Howler monkeys, coatis and iguanas are common neighbors in Nosara.

The Nicoya blue zone
Life here is unhurried (and long)
The Nicoya Peninsula is one of the world's few “blue zones”: regions where people live longer than usual. In Nosara, that pace meets a culture of yoga and wellness you notice day to day.
